Thrilled to welcome to the show a guest that I saw months and months ago, frankly.

She was all over the news.

You probably heard the story of Jennifer Say, the former Levi's brand president, who ended

up leaving her post or, and I'll get her version of the story in a moment.

I may be shorthanding this inaccurately, but long story short, she most famously made

news when she simply said she thought kids belonged in school in San Francisco, where

Levi's was headquartered and based, where she was working, that that school, the schools

in the San Francisco area, like they were in much of the country were shut down.

And Jennifer Say said, I don't like, I don't like that.

I don't think that's good for kids.

She was ultimately vindicated, but not before she ended up having a very public parting

with the company over it, because a lot of other people didn't appreciate her public

stance on it.

There's much more to the story I know, but that's the shorthand version and we're grateful

to have her today.
