Yes, I have finally capitulated to the video game revolution.

Actually, I haven't.

But my five-year-old, people from New Zealand coming in, it's a long way.

My five-year-old is really into Minecraft. I mean,

really into Minecraft. And she sometimes wants me to play with her. It's very perilous because

if I do something in the game she doesn't like, I can barely, barely even make it function,

make myself go around as a character.

And if I get too close to her, she kills me.

But then she resurrects me.

She's very into playing God.

Anyway, it occurred to me.

I was playing around with this.

And, you know, I really believe that things like movies and books and games that get a lot of purchase in the culture

are tapping into some very deep storylines

that are possibly written in our very genes.
