Tonight, I'd like to share some things that the Lord has placed on my heart with you in Psalm

127. And if you're taking notes, the title of our Bible study tonight is letting God work in your life.

I hope you're there in Psalm 127.

It's a song of Solomon.

Solomon was the son of David.

And it says, unless the Lord builds, everybody say builds.

Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it.

Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early,

to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows, for so he gives his beloved sleep. Behold, children

are a heritage from the Lord. The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the

hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them.

They shall not be ashamed, but shall speak with their enemies in the gate. Heavenly Father,

we come to you now and we just submit ourselves to you, Lord, the chief

shepherd of this church. And we ask, Lord, that you would teach us now through the pages of your

word. We do pray for my dad and my mom who have been in Florida and doing ministry. We ask that

you'd bring them home to us safely, and we trust that you've been using

Pastor Gary to speak to the leaders there of the Calvary Chapel region in South Florida.

Bless him, bring them home to us safely. And now, Lord, here we are just submitting ourselves to

you and your word. Would you teach us, God, by your Holy Spirit? And would you just fill this place, infuse this room, Lord, this building with your

very presence, God, that we might be able to hear from you, Lord. It's been a long, long Wednesday,

and now, Lord, we're just here to settle our hearts before you and to be encouraged through the pages of your word, Lord.
