0:04.5	And the topic of today's newsletter is going to be letting go of who you are to become what you might be.
0:12.7	I've got an email. This one is from a guy. He first found me about a year ago, like a lot of dudes,
0:19.3	probably 80% of the guys that come to my channel
0:21.8	in my website understandrelationships.com is because they just got dumped and they didn't want to be
0:29.0	dumped or they're trying to get an ex-back or they're trying to solve something that's gone
0:33.1	sideways with a relationship they were in or with a girl they were trying to date.
0:38.7	And so he started reading 3% man.
0:42.7	And then he met a girl, I guess he says about eight months ago.
0:48.4	And then after like two, three weeks of dating, she wanted to be exclusive.
0:52.0	He was like, that's a little too soon.
0:54.0	Let's just see how it goes she was
0:55.5	cool and then eventually they got serious but he noticed several red flags she came from a broken home
1:02.8	and then also when she would drink she would get sloppy drunk even when there was just the two
1:07.7	of them hanging out he would have discussions with her about it,
1:11.5	and then it would just continue to happen. And so he'll go through, you'll see as we go through,
1:16.9	there was a bunch of detail on stuff that happened, but there's a lot of things he doesn't mention.
1:22.6	There's a lot of red flags that he saw and her behavior. And then so he broke it off with her. And then a couple
1:29.5	weeks later, he went back to her. And then they were together for a week or two. And then he says
1:33.2	he broke it off for good, but he's still tempted to go back. Because deep down, he's got that
1:37.9	fear that, because he says the girl's a sweetheart, but obviously she's got kind of a truckload
1:43.8	of problems. And as you've been following me for a while, but obviously she's got kind of a truckload of problems.
