I released a video today called Letter to a Christian Spouse, and it covers in a shorter form on video.

It's just me talking into a camera, but it is a message from me to the believing spouse of an apostate.

I met this guy in Arkansas last week. I was on a speaking engagement, and he had told me a story.

He and his wife, on the day they were married were both

Christians. They had that God belief in common. And then he went through a journey in his life where

he realized he no longer believed and he sort of came out. He told his wife, look, I just don't

believe this anymore. And it caused a real strain on the marriage. In fact,

she told him outright, she didn't want to stay married to a non-believer. They got two kids in

toe, you know, what's going to happen with the children? And I think as they left it, she just said,

I don't want to hear it anymore. You know, don't talk to me anymore about

this and the subject sort of off limits. Who knows what the future holds for these two?

But I haven't stopped thinking about this guy and what I might say to his wife if I ever had

the opportunity to do so. And so that's what the video is. And if you are

more inclined to enjoy a radio podcast version, an audio version of this, the radio show is sort of a

more in-depth message from me to you. I am speaking now to the spouse of sort of a newly minted non-believer, or maybe the parent of a

child who has come out as an atheist, or maybe you're simply close friends, or you were close

friends, and now your friend has informed you. They no longer believe in God. Maybe they sent you

the link, hoping you would listen and perhaps

get some insight into what they're going through. That's what I want to accomplish. I want to

communicate to you just a little bit of how your loved one got to that point in their lives,

because I've been down that path in my own life. You know, I can imagine this husband, this guy.

It comes to this moment in his life when he decides, I'm going to figure it out.
