Welcome back to my Book of Mormon podcast. I'm your host, Marie Kent, and we are continuing

our quest to read all eight letters written by Oliver Cowdery, my historical boyfriend, to his

friend, his compatriot, his fellow believer in Joseph Smith, W.W. Phelps. Today, we're going to be

reading Letter 5. And this one, letter five, is all about

the nature and calling of angels, which, if I've learned anything, reading these letters,

it's going to be real flowery. And it's not going to give me exactly what I want to know about

angels, because what I really want to know is what you want to know,

which is what do they look like? I mean, I'm assuming that these angels are going to look like

that's one of the descriptions in the Bible where they have six wings and are covered in eyes,

right? Or maybe where they're shaped like a ball, obviously. We know that's not what it's going to be.

But I'm just going to go with the six wings covered in Nyes deal. We're also going to talk about

the great plan of redemption and possibly the preaching of the gospel and the gathering of Israel.
