There is something really significant that the Republicans are trying to do in states like

Texas that quite frankly could destroy the fragments of what is left in American society as it

pertains to democracy and our ability to have a role within it. Now, I'm not one of them people who's

like democracy forever because, you know, like it's a system that works now

it's fine but this part right here is really really important now if i have a lot of power in a system

and i don't want you to have power in this system it's going to be incumbent upon me to basically

figure out a way to not just hold onto my power but to keep you away it. Because I don't want you having access to my power. I want my power for me. And if my power is not for me and I have to share it with you, that's not good because I want all the power. And so what I might do if I was an evil, no good, dirty, rotten, scoundrel kind of a person, what I might do if I wanted to keep my power, keep oppressing you and keep you away from my power is I would bury the source of my power. I would hide it deep down into the mountains. It would be not just beneath the ground. It would be beneath the water beneath the ground. It would be beneath the hellfires beneath the ground. It would be in the center of the earth. I would try to hide the keys to my power in ways that you would never, ever even think about finding. This matters because of what Greg Abbott is trying to do and what Donald Trump is trying to do with a process known as redistricting. Now, I'm going to do my best to make redistricting and sense this sounds sexy. Okay? I got to explain. What did that Kendrick song?

The element is like, if I got to teach about redistricting, I'm going to make it sexy. We're going to, if I got to teach my senses, then I'm going to make it sexy. So that's what we're going to try to do. We're going to try to jush up this topic because what happens in American societies, They make them power centers so boring, so, so asinine, so weird that they bury it and we don't ever see it and we will end up fighting for justice at the surface, not realizing that the real power that we're fighting is down below.

So let's talk about the latest racist Texas power grab.

It involves census and redistricting, so we got to make it sexy because these topics tend to be very boring for a lot of people. And I geek out over this. I'm going to just let you know your sister Fran Finna geek out because when it comes to the census and redistricting and the sources of real power in the society, this is my jam. Okay.
