A lot to get to, starting with, hey, Florida State has hired a new football coach. Florida State

introduced Willie Taggart on Wednesday as the 11th coach in Florida State

history and man guys he killed that press conference right I think we're all in agreement that that

won the press conference introductory that was there on Wednesdays you know typically that's an easy

it's tough to mess up the press conference and intro, like some coaches that won't be named until later

in the podcast, but Willie nailed it.

I thought he hit all the notes that Florida State fans probably wanted.

He hit the notes that, like as media members members who were kind of interested to hear,

Boosters. I think every level people were excited and there's this palpable excitement in the program that frankly,

I mean, hasn't been felt in a while.

Yeah, he said a lot of things about a lot of things without having to be asked about those things.

He talked about offensive philosophy, defensive philosophy.

Sort of the mantra he lives by what the program goes by how he views a program, how he operates

a program.

He hearkened back to great FSU defenses, had some great one-liners, war-daddies, bad-assesasses. You know he did that stuff. Jim

Gladden Mickey Andrews were in that room. They were impressed by

they were really impressed based on what you your conversations with them.

He talked about Charlie Ward, Peter Warwick, hearken back to a lot of great players that

played here, guys that he knows, you know, him and P-up basically grew up together.
