Philippians 4, 4 through 7.

Rejoice in the Lord always.

Again I will say rejoice.

Let your reasonableness be known to everyone.

The Lord is at hand.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with

Thanksgiving. Let your requests be made known to God.

And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding

will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Let's pray together.

Prone to wander, Lord, we feel it.

Prown to leave.

Horrible words prone to leave the God we love. And yet that's reality Lord because of indwelling sin that has to be mortified

day by day and so Lord in this moment in this precious powerful truth-laden worship service.

Come and fetter us.

Bind us to you and don't let us wander. We say freely and gladly do it

Lord make us your slaves and do it from the inside out.

Change us at the heart so that we want to stay.

We are bound by chords of love and therefore do not turn away.

To that end, Lord, make us a praying people in 2004, I ask. And to that end, use this message through Christ I ask it. Amen.
