I'm Mentor Mama and today we are going to be talking about learning to

share your faith with confidence. But let's first consider why sharing our faith is important.

I want us to look at a few scriptures. 1 Peter 315 says, but in your hearts, honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you, yet do it with gentleness and respect.

Colossians 4, verses 5 and 6 say, walk in wisdom toward outsiders,

making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt,

so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.

2 Timothy 1.8 says, therefore, do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God.

And the last one I want to mention today is Matthew 28,

verses 18 to 20. And Jesus came and said to them, all authority in heaven and on earth has been

given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father

and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded

you.

And behold, I am with you always to the end of the age.

So the Bible makes it very clear that each and every one of us is called to share our faith.

But what does the reality of sharing our faith really look like to you?

Is it scary?

Or do you just not know what to say maybe?

Or maybe you actually have shared your faith and then nothing happened.
