a signal hill. Yeah. Well, I mean, you know, long beach was built on oil and this is

like the epicenter and it's one of the last remaining as far as downtown Long Beach

goes. Like, you know, you you can see. Yeah, yeah, there was there's actually oil pumps

right next to us. Yeah, the wells are all over the place. That's great. So yeah, this

is my favorite studio out here. Yeah, where are we at? What's it called? This is the

compound studio. The compound studio is my guest, which I'm fired up. I've been waiting

to have you on the show for about a year. JB Cannon right here, right? Yeah, yeah, that's

I had my own about a year ago. Yeah, I think he called in from where we got to do that

record Detroit or Nashville. Oh, yeah, this last record we did at Nashville. Right.

He was calling from there. Yeah. Why you guys were recording it? Yeah, head down, which

is a killer record, man. But I mean, the reason I want to have you on is like, I love rock.

We just talked before we turned on the mics. I grew up on like classic rock. Yeah, right.

And I love everything about it. We have a mutual friend, Mark Ford, which I couldn't believe

which is pretty, pretty sick. But the reason I like your band is it's so real deal to me,

you know what I mean? Like there's always a band that's going to kind of be like you guys

where they come out. I think every, what do you think? Five years where you go? Oh,

there's a rock band or something. And they've got the outfits or something. But then it's

just, it's not quite there. They have like, ah, they just turn this riff around. And, you

know what I mean? It's hokey. It doesn't feel real. Yeah, that's going to happen, man.
