I was living in Salt Lake City. I was in my late 20s.

The reason I was living there

was my wife was a doctor doing a residency there. And I come from a family that

was intimately connected with cake and baking. My uncle was a bakery equipment,

bakery equipment, had a bakery equipment company.

And I spent a lot of the time at the back of bakeries,

in New York City, you know, the ethnic bakeries Jewish the Hungarian the Italian the Greek the German the Austrian.
