Today's conversation is with Emily Burning. She is the co-founder of Let Them Live, which is an

organization that has walked alongside hundreds of women in crisis pregnancy situations and helped

them choose life. Because here's the thing, abortion is never easy to talk about. It's not light.

It's not fun even, but it is necessary. And what I have found

from multiple conversations is it's so multifaceted. You honestly can't run out of ways to speak

into such a dark space. And what I love is that Emily and her husband started with nothing

but conviction. They emptied their own bank account

to meet the needs of one mom and save one life. And that singular act of obedience, one that didn't

make sense financially, strategically, practically has grown into a national movement.

And our conversation wasn't just about the tangible work of let them live, but also about just

what it means to say yes to God when it feels terrifying.

Because obedience usually is going to ask us to step into the unknown, to do things that

don't make sense, and to keep going when fear tells us to stop.

And Emily's story is a living testimony

to what God can do when we choose faith over comfort and how God multiplies what we lay at

his feet. And so I think that this episode will challenge you. It will encourage you and it will

remind you that even when it feels costly, obedience is always worth it. And then I also just got

the opportunity to shine a light on an organization that is doing incredible work and making an

impact in our world and in our country and in an issue that is, I know, really close to a lot
