Hello to our lovely coven, happy Wednesday! This week the girlies are vocal stimming and doing their best Jim Carrey impersonations before diving into the familial trauma of The Sixth Sense and their shared love for the legend himself, M. Night Shyamalan. Katie and Dayna debate the curse of daylight savings…or to some…the blessing…get into the holiday spirit, and have a very important PSA (condoms = hot) over a controversial TikTok by Hallie Batchelder. They unpack Mariah Carey's alleged cancellation, a West End Girl deep dive on Lily Allen and David Harbour (ew), and share some truly unhinged takes on blatant product placement in holiday movies. You do not want to miss this one!

| 0:00.0 | Good morning. Good morning. I thought you were going to go to Dory being a whale. That's what that sounded like. |
| 0:07.4 | No. |
| 0:07.7 | She's like, hello. Hello, baby. From what? I don't know. Some like old timey thing. Well, good morning. |
| 0:16.0 | Isn't it like, hello baby? I can't remember the song. Anyways, whatever. If you know, let me know. Let us know. If you know, you know, let me know, please, because I don't know. Welcome to disrespectfully with Katie Maloney and Dana Kathen. Unapologetically, we're here to do what we want to do. Spilling the tea. Babe, you're going to see the power of women, like, disrespectfully. Just another one of those, like, vocal stims. I mean, they're so important to me. Each one more important than last. I didn't even realize until, like, was the phrase vocal stim a thing? Or is that just been in the ether the last, like, year or two? Because I know I was doing it forever, but vocal stem has become a vocal stem because I didn't know that the word existed and now I'm like finally there's there's a thing to describe it okay I think that or a thing to explain it I'm gonna have to assume it's new it's a newer thing of like knowing what that's called because I definitely didn't know but we've all been doing it since we were since we saw our Carrey movie, I would say, in the early 90s. By the way, I watched Ace Ventura yesterday. I almost said Ace Ventura specifically. He's like, I'll call you later. Is your number still 911? All righty then. I mean, hello, Jim Carrey, my loser, you guys think I came up with that of my own. If you're, if you're young, if you're like, Gen Z, maybe you don't know. That is it, that's from Jim. |
| 1:30.4 | Lehu, Zhehe. I loser. You guys think I came up with that on my own? If you're, if you're young, if you're like, |
| 1:31.7 | Gen Z, maybe you don't know. That is it, that's from Jim. Le. He's the her. Loser. |
| 1:40.8 | Like, I think most of like my personality came from Acentura when he goes, all righty. And then he goes, really all of them |
| 1:42.9 | I mean and also like |
| 1:43.9 | the pen is blue |
| 1:45.6 | like I want to |
| 1:46.9 | I want to |
| 1:48.0 | I want to milk him or I want to suck him. And he's like, like, all of that from liar. Like, all of that from liar. Like, mama. Oh, God, it's so good. Jim Carrey is just unmatched in so many fucking ways. I love him. We don't talk about him enough. |
| 2:01.1 | Have we ever put him on the daddy list? |
| 2:02.5 | I would say it's too early to go to the daddy list, but I would put him on there for sure. Oh, yeah. 100%. I also just like how much he kind of clowns people, too. Like when he did that, I'll never get the red carpet thing they did when they're asking who he was wearing. He's like, what? Yeah. Have you ever seen The Majestic? I don't think I have. I think that might be one carry movie I haven't seen. Okay, so Justice for the Majestic, it is such a good movie, and it really flopped. I remember when it came, I remember seeing in theaters, I was little, and I remember it being so good, and, like, my family talking about how good it was and the fact that it didn't get its props and it was more of a dramatic role for him and so obviously he's comedic genius so I think people just didn't take him seriously but it's really good so I need you to watch it and get back to me and if you're at home you need like just you want a random old movie watch the majestic it's good all righty then all righty then hey speaking of old, want to know something I did that probably traumatized Fleur and Caleb? You put on something at their house on Halloween, which which was it? Did they tell you? No. The sixth sense? Why would that be traumatizing? Oh, well, I, we were passing out candy and so I was like, let's watch, we're going to watch a scary movie, duh, on theme. |
| 3:09.2 | And I was like, the sixth sense. And Flores said to me several times, she's like, are you sure you want to watch this right now? And like, or just, you know, in general. And I was like, yeah, it's like a scary movie. Why not? It's so good. First of all, holds up. the acting em knight shaman he'll never have a better i think film it's just like it's so it |
| 3:26.0 | tony clette it's It's just like, it's so, Tony Colette. It's perfect. It's a perfect film. However, the themes of family members that have passed on and the end, she's spoiler alert. But if you haven't seen it, he was dead the whole time. He's like, hello, Dwight Shrewd. He says that in an episode of the office. There's, you know, he's talking to Tony Colette, Haley Joel Osmond, as her son, and he is like, grandma says that you talk to her and you asked her something at the grave this one day. And she said her answers every day. What did you ask her? And Tony Kla is having a connoissement. And she goes, are you proud of me? Oh my God. And then different themes throughout the movie of, you know, he's a troubled child and she does her best. She's a single mom. They don't have money. She's doing her best. So like, and she has like this red hair and those like iconic nails. Reddish-child hair. And she's like, well, today, this morning, I won the lottery. And then she's going through and making it special for him. And like, he's having a bad day. And she's pushing him in a grocery cart. And she like runs him through the parking lot to have fun. And it just reminded me a lot of my mom and different, there were different elements that I was not at all prepared for mentally. |
| 4:31.7 | But just for anyone that's like had loved ones pass on. I just don't remember it being so emotional. |
| 4:38.1 | I don't remember that either. I mean like the standout parts to me are like when he sees the people |
| 4:42.6 | hanging in this at the school. And then also like Misha Barton's whole part in that. She's so young. So creepy. But she also like in general, I think the last time I saw it was maybe the 90, like maybe I had seen it twice. So I guess it makes sense. But there were like different things you remember like, but I didn't know. Floor had told me recently what's his name? The Wahlberg brother is the guy in the beginning. Donnie Walberg. Oh, yeah. And I didn't remember it as being that actor, but there's like things like that throughout. But I just so distinctly remember if you had asked me the most like besides the infamous line, I see they're everywhere all the time. Is Misha Barton throwing up? Like specifically her just like she opens the thing and you're like, |
| 5:20.9 | ugh. Yeah. Metophobia. No, thank you. No, that's crazy. Yeah, because it's one of those movies that I don't sit and watch it from beginning to end every time. You know, like it's one of the, it's on. So I'll like put it on and it's, I don't know what point it's in, maybe the beginning, maybe the middle, but I'm just sort of putting it on in the background. |
| 5:37.4 | Yeah. |
| 5:37.9 | But so good. |
