What's going on, everybody?

All right, so lots to get to NFL-wise.

I'll hit on the college football as well.

With my Notre Dame Fighting Irish, just absolutely wetting themselves and getting pulverized by Clemson. I am from South Bend, Indiana, so I'm not going to homer it up on you.

I will tell you the truth. I'm not going to sugarcoat things, and that was ugly, but it's a day

of NFL action, and there are so many things to react to.

And I'm just looking at the day that was, and with the Vikings getting bounced from the playoffs, the Eagles getting in.

Think about the Eagles.

They were a four and six football team.

And somehow they find themselves in the NFL playoffs at 9 and 7.

They ride the hot hand of Nick Foles into the promised land. And I have said many critical things about Nick Foles.

I still believe that he is fooling people into thinking he's a true franchise quarterback.

But that's over the long haul. Over the short term, he's performed very well.

And the turning point for their season was the shocker at the L.A. Rams.
