It's just you and I this week. I wanted to start off by telling a personal story. You mind if we get a little personal from it?

I was going to insist that we get a little personal.

I was picking my daughter up from like a mall date.

Not with a boy, but like she's 13.

She's at the age where it's like 1985 again. Like her social life is going to the mall with a friend and walking aimlessly around the mall and then calling me when she wants to be picked up. I can't tell you how heartening it is to find out that that's still a thing that happens. It's still a thing because there's just shit else to do. Yeah, I mean, that's like the culture of Northern New Jersey. That's like all I grew up with.

It's like you walk to like the three or four different stores in the mall that sell like the game hats. And you're like, oh, I see that one. It says Cox, short for game cocks. And then you just do it again for another hour. And then somebody picks you up after you've had pizza. Good for her.

That's what she does

because she doesn't drink.

She doesn't figure out drinking or jeweling

or like smoking weed yet, because she's 13. Yeah. There's nothing to fucking do. So that means she goes to the mall. She eats like, she drinks in Orange Julius and then she buys some shit at Forever 21 that my wife makes her return. Maybe there's a Panda Express visit in there, but like, that's good, though. That's, you can grow up as a healthy and well-adjusted child doing stuff like that. She's into, she's into, like, gourmet ramen. I don't mean that in, like, a snotty way, because now there's, like, a fancy ramen joint on every block in a major city. Yeah. And she likes it so much she did a PowerPoint presentation in school on it.

On like the principals of ramen and like the five elements and shit?

Like a study where she like quizzed like 100 other kids in the middle school about

ramen and whether or not they liked fancy ramen or not.

And she was like, my conclusions were very surprising about ramen joints.
