Somebody texted me happy first day of spring who's a friend of mine. People like to poke me and see if I'll explode. I don't know why that is.

Well, we got an email from a lady just now.

As for the first day of spring, it is usually March 20th, also my birthday. It's also dependent on leap year.

Today, the spring equinox occurs at 2.24 pm Pacific time.

So you cling to your gods and your guns in your first day of spring being the 21st because it's the first full day of spring.

Yeah, and it's just, yeah, it's just what it's always been.

And for some reason, no, no, no, always for you. This is white privilege or something. My truth.

My truth is that spring begins at 2.24 in the afternoon when people say the first day of spring. They mean the first day of spring.

And it's always been the 21st just like the first day of winter is December 21st. It doesn't change. It's not like it's different every year.

It's always the same.

But you're not the long statement. You're just repeating that I'm right. I'm right. I'm right.

No, no, no. Okay, it's the way you divide up the seasons. Yes.

Are equally divided in fours. There's no getting around the fact that the longest day of the year is June 21st.

And the shortest day of the year is December 21st. Then the halfway point between those are the spring equinox and for sure, whatever.

They always have been. But when is the equinox on March 21st?

So it's not at 2.24 Pacific time according to my person.

But the first day of spring would be tomorrow.
