Today we are going to be talking about TED Talks because it seems that everybody wants to give a TED talk.

And it is such an honor and a privilege to give one.

I have given two at the time of recording this.

And I've learned a lot from, you know, going through that process,

seeing other speakers who were at these events with me,

memorizing them.

So I thought I'd just put it all out

there for everyone who has wanted to do a TED talk, but they don't know how to get in the front

door. Or maybe you just recently landed a TED talk and you're like, okay, now what? So let's get

started. I'll talk about how I first got my first TED Talk opportunity.

And this goes back to what I said in my podcast episode about my speaking tour, which is speaking begets more speaking.

I got both of my TED talks actually from one talk that I gave at a Harvard conference for

young women in business.

And it was a huge audience. I was in front of 300 people. And a lot of them were high school students because it was basically a conference where

a lot of high school girls had come together. And so I gave a talk on personal branding. And

afterwards, there was a long line to talk to me and two people in line ended up being very
