Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about why the GOP is facing division that seems unprecedented.

We're going to do this because we got a message from our guys at the metal shop.

Hey, it's us again. The right-wingers have a question, and I tried to answer it using the

bus analogy. But either I didn't do a good job, or it's just so far outside the way they

think, they looked at me like I grew another head. Their question is simple. Why is the

Republican Party facing the division it is all of a sudden?

They see it happening, but don't understand why. Okay. Because the Republican Party is no longer the

Republican Party you've known. In the past, the GOP was a singular party with a singular mission. Maintained the

status quo. In short, the Republican Party was made up of actual conservatives. It's not anymore.

You have multiple factions within the party. It's a coalition party now, like the Democratic Party. For the Republicans,

in rhetoric, you all call every Democrat a leftist. Some of you know that almost none of them are

actual leftists, but you also know there's a difference between Bernie Sanders or AOC and Nancy Pelosi or Biden. They represent different

factions within the Democratic Party. I don't know how long y'all have been listening,

but if it's been any length of time, you've heard terms like corporate dem or establishment

dem or dirt road Democrat or progressive or Bernie bro.

These are all groups under the Democratic Party umbrella, but they're very different.

Well, Trump has turned the Republican Party into that. This isn't an exhaustive list, but you now have the fiscal hawks, the tech

bros, the far-right magotypes, the religious right. You've got a faction that is almost

libertarian party, and then you have the traditional conservatives who built the Republican Party.

Ironically, you call them rhinos.

These groups will not align with each other on every issue, and the fiscal hawks are going to be
