So today, we're going to talk about Trump wanting troops back in Afghanistan.

Y'all aren't going to believe this.

Reporting has now come out that Trump is trying to get the U.S. back into Afghanistan.

Trump, for really no apparent reason,

when talking about Bogram Air Base and Afghanistan, said, quote, we're trying to get it back,

by the way. He said, quote, we were going to leave Afghanistan, but we were going to leave it

with strength and dignity. We were going to keep Bogram, the big airbase, one of the biggest air bases.

We gave it to them for nothing.

Fact check.

The deal that governed the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan was one Trump negotiated.

It did not include the U.S. keeping bogrum.

Trump went on to say, quote, we want that base back.

At first, I thought he was having another Grandpa Simpson moment.

But it turns out that reporting now suggests the Trump administration has actively been working to get the U.S.

back into Afghanistan for months. Look, I'm going to be honest. Most of what has occurred since

Trump took office again was pretty easy to see coming. The executive overreach, the tariffs

leading to economic issues, and so on.

Going back into Afghanistan was incredibly surprising, to say the least.

I need to say this clearly.

There is no method of securing Bogram without a sizable U.S. presence in Afghanistan.
