Well, howdy there internet people? Let's beau again. So today we are going to talk about an internal discussion going on within the Republican Party and how that discussion is creating a situation where people within the

Republican Party are worried that it is going to decrease voter enthusiasm on their side.

So it's important to understand for a whole bunch of reasons,

but for those outside of the Republican Party and those who particularly care about this issue,

it's also very telling.

Okay, so what's going on? Trump wants the platform for the Republican Party to change a little bit.

He wants it to say that when it comes to reproductive rights, well we just want to send that

back to the states.

We don't want to have anything to do with it at the federal level.

Why? Because he knows their position is a losing position.

He doesn't want to be tied to it. He doesn't want to have to answer to it, he doesn't want to have to actually

pretend to be pro-life.

So he just wants to say, let the states handle it and just wash his hands of it.

Not because he has suddenly become in favor of choice, but because he doesn't want to deal

with it and he knows it's bad politically.

He I guess that side they want to drop the call for a constitutional amendment

for personhood.

If you didn't know that was a thing,

they've had that a while.

And drop the idea of a federal ban from their platform.

Now that doesn't mean they won't do it.

Just wants to get rid of that so he doesn't have to answer
