Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about Trump versus U.S. intelligence and two weeks.

Trump having disputes with his inner circle and his advisors and subject matter experts is normal.

Those disputes spilling out into public are routine. This one's a

little different. It's about a subject that in any normal administration demands the entire

administration march in lockstep. The American people want to know that before a president

sends American forces into harm's way, that there

is agreement about whether or not it's necessary. Trump and his director of national intelligence

had a very different opinion on Iran's nuclear desires. D. and I Tulsi Gabbard said Iran wasn't

pursuing a nuclear weapon.

And now that Trump made public statements to the contrary, she has changed her position.

The intelligence community has said that Iran has uranium, but isn't actively pursuing a weapon.

Beyond that, it's said that Iran hasn't been pursuing one for years.

According to Senator Mark Warner of Virginia, the vice chair of the Intelligence Committee,

quote, so far, at least, the intelligence community has stood by its conclusion that Iran is not moving towards

a nuclear weapon. They were enriching additional uranium, but they were not weaponizing that yet.

Trump, well, Trump on the other hand, apparently doesn't care what Gabbard or the intelligence community thinks.

He said plainly, quote,

I don't care what she said.

He might not care what she or US Intel said, but the American people do.
