Well howdy there, internet people, it's Bell again. So today, we're going to talk about

Trump talking to AI Teddy Roosevelt and what Teddy would have actually said. Trump took his

scheduled tour of the new Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library in North Dakota. And while he was

there, he chatted with an AI version of Teddy, in what really appeared to be a gross attempt

to latch on to Roosevelt's image. The AI Teddy said, quote, every day a president faces storms most people never see. But if you keep

your nerve and remember the nation comes first, you get through. I know you know that feeling

yourself. Trump replied, quote, well, I appreciate those words. Those words are fantastic. And I just want to say it's an honor to be with you today. And we're making a little bit of a tour some of the fantastic things you've done.

Okay, we're not doing this. Trump and Teddy are not comparable.

Teddy had a ton of faults, but he was nothing like Trump.

Trump had the benefit of a hundred years of advancement of society,

and Teddy still knew better on most policy issues.

Teddy probably wouldn't have wanted Trump to be president because

he didn't think rich men knew much. Quote, it tires me to talk to rich men. You expect a man of

millions, the head of a great industry, to be a man worth hearing. But as a rule, they don't know anything outside

their own business. He also didn't think much of men who inherited their money and said, quote,

I believe in a graduated income tax on big fortunes. He also believed in a, quote,

graduated inheritance tax on big fortunes,

increasing rapidly an amount with the size of the estate.

He would have hated the one big beautiful bill.

In his book, The Great Adventure, published in 1918, he said, quote,

Patriotism means to stand by the country. It does not mean to stand by the president or any other

public official, save exactly to degree in which he himself stands by the country.
