Well, howdy there, internet people, it spell again.

So today, we're going to talk about Trump suggesting regime change in Cuba.

As Trump struggles to articulate a real plan or strategy, or even reason for that matter for his orders in Iran, that have led to strikes

all over the region, and destabilized world markets. He's decided that maybe he should start

yet another major issue for future Americans to deal with. He's implied, or outright said on a couple of occasions, that he wants to engage in regime

change in Cuba. Most recently, he said, quote, we're also looking forward to the great change

that will soon be coming to Cuba. Cuba is at the end of the line. They're very much at the end of the line.

They have no money.

They have no oil.

They have a bad philosophy.

They have a bad regime that's been bad for a long time.

He also promised to, quote,

Take care of Cuba.

Okay. So if they have no oil, no money, no strategic value, and so on, why exactly is this a national priority? A bad regime that's been bad for a long time.

So, some historical beef. This seems a lot like when George W. Bush convinced himself that

everything was going swimmingly in Afghanistan and decided to start a second war before he finished

his first one. Maybe people who are backing all of these regime change operations need to remember that the U.S. doesn't

actually have a good track record with them.

The regime he's currently trying to oust in Iran came to power after the last time the U.S.

and the U.K. decided it would realign the country. The government in Cuba

is the one that emerged after decades of U.S. interventions to include U.S. military rule,

and the U.S. deciding to adjust arms sales to the country in 1958.
