Well, howdy there internet people, let's bow again. So today we are going to talk

about the possibility of Trump pulling a disappearing act on August 23rd,

because he is now kind of publicly indicating that, well, he doesn't

want to show up to that

the Republican presidential primary debate. He doesn't want to have anything to do with that now. He is instead

floating the idea that instead of doing that at the same time that as the debate is going on he's going to do a one-on-one

with with Tucker doing an interview with him rather than show up at the debates.

Okay, so let's run through the possible reasons that he might decide to do it this way. First is maybe he just really believes that his position is secure,

that he is entitled to the nomination, he is leading in the polls,

and he doesn't need to show up because all of those other people are beneath him.

And he wants to make a point of this.

He wants to make that point so bad that he's going to jeopardize

his long-standing legal strategy by not showing up.

That would be one option.

He just feels like he's the boss.

Another one would be that due to his list of legal

entanglements, he understands that the other candidates

are going to be, they're going to have an edge. They have a

lot of stuff to sling his way and he knows they're going to now.

Still another is that it's something he can't control.

He doesn't know what questions will be asked.
