So today we're going to talk about Trump's promise to women.

And well, the reaction from women.

Trump calls his stir over the weekend when he took to a minor social media outlet on Friday

to make a unique promise to the women of the United States.

That unique comment led to a flurry of commentary from wondering if he actually

understands the objections women have or if he understands the way the decisions

he made in his first term disrupted the lives of women and made women

across the country feel less safe and less secure.

In his post addressed to women he said quote quote you will no longer be thinking about abortion

because it is now where it always had to be with the states all caps

then at a rally on Saturday with the states, all caps.

Then at a rally on Saturday, he said,

quote,

women will be happy, healthy, confident, and free.

You will no longer be thinking about abortion. It's as if he doesn't

understand that the reason women are thinking about abortion and other forms of

reproductive rights is because of the

Republican Party's push to get Roe overturned. His decisions with his

Supreme Court picks pushed it back into the hands of the states.

That is why women are thinking about it.

He put it back in the hands of the states.
