Well, howdy there, Internet people it spell again.

So today, we're going to talk about Trump blaming others for his redistricting failure.

Trump started a nationwide redistricting battle after he pushed Texas to engage in a mid-decade redistricting fight.

Republicans were warned that if they tried to gerrymander, that just this once, Democrats would

fight fire with fire. Trump called, and it turns out Democrats weren't bluffing.

The battle raged across the country.

Virginia recently took the issue to the voters, and voters decided in favor of redistricting

to help Democrats.

Republicans are, as expected, taking the issue to the courts.

The final outcome of the court battle is yet to be determined.

And to be honest, it isn't a slam dunk for Democrats like, say, California was.

But as it stands, Democrats have an edge.

Trump's redistricting war, much like his trade wars, appears to be a loss.

Some Republicans are blaming, rightfully blaming Trump, for starting this whole mess.

Because honestly, all it seems to have done is animate the Democratic base and give the Republicans

a few potential dummymanders. House Republicans are openly admitting their mistake. Representative

Jay Obernulty of California, who admittedly seemed to be against it the whole time, said, quote,

Virginia does not change my opinion. I thought that Texas was a mistake. I thought California

was a mistake on the part of the Democrats. Even the National Republican Congressional Committee Chair Richard Hudson of North Carolina

seemed to try to distance himself from Trump's mass, simply saying, quote, it wasn't my decision.
