So today, we're going to talk about Trump, dated economics, and the Constitution.

So today, we're going to answer a question that came in a while back.

But since I've said both of these things recently and similar sentiments have been expressed,

it seems worth going

over. Quote, Bell, you have said that Trump used dated or obsolete economic ideas over and over again,

but you don't actually explain what you mean. No specifics. Just he's old and has old ideas. And then you have a habit of saying that anything the

President Trump or Doge does, he doesn't have the power to do, and that it's Congress's job.

I'm sorry, I didn't know the president was supposed to be Congress's word for female dog and just do what they say.

Let's start with the dated economic ideas.

To start with, let's start with something Trump said about tariffs.

Quote, nations have been taking advantage of the United States.

And quote, tax these wealthy nations, not America.

End our huge deficits, reduce our taxes.

So that's where Trump is at.

That's what he's promising.

The problem is that while you probably think those quotes are recent,

they're from 1987. Okay, so something more recent.

Quote, so many countries are just ripping off America left and right and down the middle.

By more recent, I mean 1988. Quote, perhaps there has to be a trade war.

It's not going to last very long because Japan, if they don't sell to this country,

they go out of business, okay?
