Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about Trump's order to cut costs for Americans.

We're going over a lot of Trump's executive actions, and we got a request for one in particular,

and this is definitely one people should understand.

Here's the request. Quote, I'm sure you're going

to yap about Trump's executive orders and the ones you don't like. Make sure you cover the

executive order he signed to lower prices. I thought you said he couldn't do that. Which executive order would that be?

I know you can't answer, but this is something I talked about.

Executive orders and executive actions are not the same thing.

I'm pretty sure you're talking about the one titled Delivering Emergency Price Relief for American

Families and defeating the cost of living crisis.

I'm not even sure if this one would count as an executive memorandum.

Notice how in the executive orders we've gone over, we can cite section and subsection. This isn't formatted that way.

Why? Because it's not an executive order. Normally, for executive memoranda, it's formatted as a memo.

There will be a video down below explaining the difference. This is really just a set of campaign promises

and things he wants executive branch agencies to accomplish, but no order or policy change to speak

of. The only real effect is that, quote, within 30 days of the date of this memorandum, the assistant to the president for economic policy

shall report to me and every 30 days thereafter on the status of the implementation of this memorandum.

So, he's asked for a report.

Other than that, the part that sounds good until you realize this is non-binding,

says, quote, I hereby ordered the heads of all executive departments and agencies to deliver

...
