about Trump and a motion that was filed and how I imagine we'll probably hear pretty quickly back

about this particular motion because of something that was included in it that I have to admit I've never seen before.

It is definitely a novel approach.

I'm not sure how that strategy is going to work out.

Okay, so if you miss the news yesterday,

Trump filed a notice to appeal when it comes to the whole idea of presidential immunity in the DC

federal case, so the election interference case there.

The appeal is about the idea that the former president is immune to all of this.

The judge there was like, no, that's not how this works.

So Trump's team is filing a notice to appeal.

Along with that, they filed a motion to stay

to basically stop all of the proceedings

in regards to this case and that in and of itself is bold but it also includes this.

Trump will proceed based on that understanding

and the authorities set forth here in absent further order from the court.
