Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about Trump's National Guard moves hitting a roadblock.

So, starting off with the attempted deployment to Portland.

A federal judge tasked with reviewing the deployment has issued a temporary order

blocking the deployment. Even though, judges are supposed to give a great level of deference

to the decisions of the president when normal functions of the U.S. government are impeded.

The judge found that is just simply not the case in Portland.

The judge plainly stated, quote, the president's determination was simply untethered to the facts.

The judge found that, quote, overall, the protests were small and uneventful.

This is at odds with Trump's perception of the event.

But as we've discussed before, Trump himself said his perception was based off of what he saw on TV.

Quote, well, I'm going to look at it now now because I didn't know that was still going on.

This has been going on for years. So we'll be able to stop that very easily. But that was not

on my list, Portland. But when I watched television last night, this has been going on.

The night before, a news outlet Trump is known to watch

used old footage when talking about Portland. We'll put a video down below in the description.

It's also worth understanding that generally the demonstrations have been confined to a single city block in a city that is more than 140 square miles.

It's likely that the Trump administration will appeal this decision. Meanwhile, Oregon's Attorney

General was happy with the news, saying, quote,

it reaffirms what we already knew.

Portland is not the president's war-torn fantasy.

Our city is not ravaged.
