Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about Trump, North Korea, and a lack of love letters.

Trump has repeatedly indicated he believed that North Korea's leader would be easy to handle,

and at one point even said he believes that Kim Jong-un misses him.

Trump would often brag about the love letters the two shared.

Well, it seems like he's just not that into Trump anymore.

In an official statement, Kim Jong-un said,

quote, we have already explored every possible avenue in negotiating with the

U.S. and indicated that he had no interest in pursuing any talks with Trump. While it is funny

to gaze upon the breakup of a tough guy power couple, we should take a moment to look at the actual

situation. Kim Jong-un didn't dump Trump

because he's just not that into him. He dumped him because he found a new guy to cuddle up to.

Kim Jong-un and Putin have grown closer over the years, and this is especially true since the war in Ukraine put Putin

in need of troops. North Korea being able to supply Russia provides a sense of national accomplishment.

They see themselves as a player in the big game. That's a feeling Trump never would have been

able to give his North Korean counterpart.

Now, North Korea didn't just offer up its troops out of the spirit of goodwill.

Nations don't have friends. They have interests.

South Korea has indicated that the big payout for the North wasn't just self-esteem. It was

anti-air. The South's National Security Director said that they have identified equipment and

anti-aircraft missiles that were to be delivered to reinforce the North's, quote, vulnerable

air defense system.
