Well, howdy there, Internet people. It's Bell again. So today, we're going to talk about

Trump's losing streak in court. Trump started off his administration with a flurry of executive orders and actions.

Many are being challenged, and a lot of those challenges have already led to them being blocked.

Late last month, a federal judge in Washington blocked Trump's imaginative reading of the

14th Amendment and his attempt to end birthright citizenship in this country.

This was the case where the federal judge appointed by Reagan said, quote, I've been on the bench for over four decades.

I can't remember another case where the question presented is as clear as this one is.

This is a blatantly unconstitutional order.

Now, a second federal judge, this time in Maryland, shot it down in a suit brought by pregnant women.

The judge said, quote,

No court in the country has ever endorsed the president's interpretation.

This court will not be the first.

One of Trump's orders required trans women in federal prisons to be moved to men's facilities.

On January 26th, that order was first put on hold by a judge in Boston.

Now, a U.S. District Judge in Washington has reportedly put a temporary restraining order in place.

It requires federal prisons to, quote,

maintain and continue the plaintiff's housing status and medical care as they existed immediately

prior to January 20. The judge found that the plaintiffs would likely succeed in arguing that

Trump's policy is unconstitutional. The judge ruled that the

restraining order would apply to all trans women being housed in federal women's facilities.
