Well, howdy there internet people, let's bow again. So today we are going to talk about the

Republican National Convention taking place up in Wisconsin and we'll go over some information and just talk about one of the things that is

reportedly being considered.

So, okay, so the RNC will take place over four days from the 15th to the 18th. It will take place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the city that Trump

reportedly referred to as a horrible city. My understanding is that there is at least one billboard up that Trump will

likely see that expresses how the people of Wisconsin feel about that comment.

Now, there are supposed to be around 50,000 people descending on Milwaukee for this, around 2,500 delegates.

All of this is pretty normal, but it's a Trump thing so you know there's going to be something that is just

completely off the wall and kind of an embarrassment to American politics.

At this point in time, Trump has not announced his vice president. Some of the quotes from his staff and people on the campaign,

aides, make it seem as though he hasn't actually chosen yet. Keep in mind he has to make

this announcement very very soon. There is reporting that suggests Trump wants to announce his Vice President Pick via a quote apprentice style reveal during the convention, like a reality show.

As if it couldn't get more cartoonish, they will somehow find a way.

I feel like for most of America,

that's gonna be an embarrassment. The thing is though for

Trump's base they will probably eat that up. They will probably love that. It is definitely a unique idea and it is one that Trump himself is reportedly heavily leaning into.

We'll have to wait and see. There are already other points of tension when it comes to some of the people who were asked to be

there and potentially speak some of the people who were not invited, the platform itself when it comes to the

softening of language that wasn't softening when it comes to family planning and

reproductive rights. There's a lot that is kind of up in the air.

Normally when you are talking about party conventions,

most of this stuff is pretty well ironed out ahead of time.
