Well, howdy there, internet people, it's bell again. So today, we're going to talk about

Trump's BLS pick and trusting numbers. So Trump has chosen the person he would like to be the new

commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics. He took to social media to make the announcement. Quote, I am pleased

to announce that I am nominating highly respected economist Dr. E.J. Antony as the next commissioner

of the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Our economy is booming and E.J. will ensure that the numbers released are honest and accurate.

I know E.J. Antony will do an incredible job in this new role. Congratulations, E.J.

So who is Antony? A Heritage Foundation economist who helped write the Project 2025 document.

You know, the document Trump said he didn't know about when he was campaigning,

and then immediately started implementing when he got into office.

Right now, most of you are thinking, great, now we'll have fake numbers. And some of you, those responsible for

most of my hate mail, are saying, great, Trump gets to pick his guy. And as soon as you acknowledge

that there are two sides and that debate exists over whether or not the numbers published

will be real, You realize that it

doesn't matter if they are or if they aren't. The only way back from the massive error he made

when he fired the BLS Commissioner was to pick a boring nonpartisan economist or manager. He didn't.

It's over. There will be doubt over the numbers. And because of that doubt, people will have less faith in the data, which means people will

be running off emotion instead of data when it comes to big financial decisions. Every single

number the new commissioner puts out could be 100% accurate.

Every number could be accurate from the first print without the revisions.

Again, the revisions are normal.
