Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about Trump's bill making it through the Senate.

A version of the Trump agenda has made it through the Senate.

It's a very different bill from the one that passed the House.

And now the differences have to be worked out between the two as the

next step. The bill was so unpopular in the Senate, it required a tiebreaker vote from Vance,

even though it only required a simple majority to pass. Republicans Susan Collins of Maine,

Rand Paul of Kentucky, and Tom Tillis of North Carolina

voted against the package. Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska voted in favor of the

package and then expressed regret and said she hoped it wasn't the final product.

Reminder, she's a senator and literally the person who could have forced the bill to be better.

By her own statement, she voted for a bill she thought was bad for America.

Quote, let's not kid ourselves. This has been an awful process,

a frantic rush to meet an artificial deadline that has tested every limit of this institution.

While we have worked to improve the present bill for Alaska, it is not good enough for the

rest of our nation,

and we all know it. My sincere hope is that this is not the final product. This bill needs more

work across chambers and is not ready for the president's desk. We need to work together to get this

right.

She turned in an incomplete assignment and now seems to want more time.

If Trump pushes it through the House, it's over.
