Well, howdy there, internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about Trump re-hiring fired employees.

Despite recent news about Trump possibly ignoring a court order, there are indications he's

complying with an order to rehire a whole bunch of employees the Doge was trying to fire.

This is important news if you're one of the tens of thousands of federal employees that were

fired on their probationary period after being hired, promoted, transferred, etc.

This is of particular importance if you are with energy, interior, agriculture,

defense, treasury, or the VA, but also applies to a host of other departments and agencies.

More than one judge has ordered the administration to hire at least some of you back,

and the Trump administration seems

to be attempting to comply with the order, albeit in a totally Trumpian way. Memos are going out

rescinding a whole bunch of terminations. We don't have an accurate count yet, but it's likely to be

thousands. Now for the Trumpian part. You might be rehired and

placed back on payroll, but you might also be placed on administrative leave. That normally means

you'll be paid but not actually work. That seems efficient. Why is this happening? Because one of the judges,

U.S. District Judge William Alsup, found, quote, that office of personnel management did

direct all agencies to terminate probationary employees, with the exception of mission-critical employees.

The administration was arguing that OPM just provided guidance.

The court flatly rejected that argument.

The judge seemed incredibly unhappy, saying,
