Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about Trump, not joking, about a third term.

Trump has once again said he was looking at a third term, and was clear he was, quote, not joking.

This prompted a whole bunch of questions about it from a whole bunch of

directions from people attempting to explain how constitutional scholars all over

the country are wrong when they say Trump can't run for a third term to asking

what the best defense is to asking why he's saying this now., here's one. Trump is going to run again.

He's going to win again. There's nothing in the 22nd Amendment that stops him from running his

vice president and then Vance resigning to make him president. Can't wait to see the liberal

tears. What's that you always say? Read the Constitution.

With the cute little SpongeBob random capitalized letters in the words. Okay, but you didn't get this from

reading the Constitution, did you? You got this by hearing somebody asking a question and assuming it was valid. Or you got

it from other people who did that. I know because 12 comes before 22. You're absolutely right.

Nothing in the 22nd Amendment prohibits the kind of end run around the Constitution you're describing.

But something in the 12th Amendment does.

I know it's a long one, like almost 400 words.

So I'll tell you, you can just read the last sentence.

Quote, no person constitutionally ineligible to the Office of President

shall be eligible to that of

the United States. Since Trump is prohibited under the 22nd, he can't be vice president.

When I say read the constitution, I mean the whole constitution. Make an effort to understand how the various pieces interplay.
