Well, howdy there, internet people, it's bell again. So today, we're going to talk about

Trump losing Bobert by bashing Colorado. Trump vetoed the Finnish the Arkansas Valley Conduit Act,

passed unanimously in the House and Senate. The legislation sought to complete a project that would

deliver water to southeastern Colorado. It's the last piece of the frying pan Arkansas project,

which was approved in 1962. According to Trump and his veto explanation, quote,

H.R. 131 would continue the failed policies of the past by forcing federal taxpayers to bear even more of the massive costs of a local water project.

A local water project that, as initially conceived, was supposed to be paid for by

the localities using it. Enough is enough. My administration is committed to preventing American

taxpayers from funding expensive and unreliable policies. Ending the massive cost of taxpayer handouts and restoring fiscal

sanity is vital to economic growth and the fiscal health of the nation. Water infrastructure

is apparently no longer something taxpayers should bear the cost of. Then, Trump moved to a new explanation later, saying,

quote, they're wasting a lot of money and people are leaving the state. They're leaving the

state in droves. Bad governor. There is no comprehensive information showing what Trump is saying about people leaving in droves.

It looks like Trump's statement is based on a single survey by United Van Lines. Studies by Allied

Van Lines, Atlas Van Lines, North American Moving Services, and U-Haul, didn't show a significant exodus. Even the one

Trump seems to be looking at only shows about 650 more outbound than inbound. Trump appears to be

losing another longtime ally over this veto. Representative Lauren Bobert said, quote,

President Trump decided to veto a completely non-controversial,

bipartisan bill that passed both the House and Senate unanimously.

If this administration wants to make its legacy blocking projects that deliver water to rural Americans, that's on them.

She wasn't done.

We're talking about Southeast Colorado, who overwhelmingly voted for President Trump in the last three elections.
