So today, we're going to talk about U.S. automakers hurt by Trump's UK deal.

Trump's deal isn't even finalized yet, and it's already receiving massive pushback from American car companies.

A deal that doesn't really change a whole lot when it comes

to U.S. U.S. U.S. U.K. trade and has widely been called political theater has a major issue.

The American Automotive Policy Council President said the American First Trade Policy

Policy, quote, hurts American automakers, suppliers, and auto workers.

What's the problem? Well, you see, the trade deal lets the UK export the first 100,000 of their cars

to the U.S. at a reduced tariff rate of 10%. AAPC members like Ford, GM, and Jeep are looking at 25% tariffs on autos assembled in Canada and Mexico.

That's right. American companies are looking at higher tariffs than companies from the UK.

The AAPC president said they were disappointed by the deal and said, quote,

under this deal, it will now be cheaper to import a UK vehicle with very little U.S. content

than a U.S.MCA compliant vehicle from Mexico or Canada that is half American parts.

The USMCA is a first term Trump trade deal. His UK deal is truly the best of deals.

Nobody's seeing deals like this. Many people are saying. The AAPC president also expressed

some concern that Trump's concept of a deal with the UK might set the tone for future deals

with countries in Asia that also export cars to the U.S. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that they might not need to

worry about that. Why? Because Trump's billionaire buddies don't drive those cars. They drive,

or they're driven in, cars like a Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, McLaren, Land Rover, or Bentley. Huh, what do all those

cars have in common? Wait, are they all based in the UK? Weird. I mean, there's no way

America first really meant America's billionaires first, right? It's surely a coincidence that

the imports that are predominantly luxury products for the rich got a little exemption, while the
