Well, howdy there, Internet people it spell again?

So today, we're going to talk about Putin ignoring Trump again.

We're going to start with a quick recap.

Trump held his summit in Alaska to much fanfare.

He walked out of it claiming major breakthroughs, while simultaneously echoing Putin's

position. Then he met with Zelensky and other world leaders. He walked out claiming breakthrough,

and promising that Putin and Zelensky would be talking soon. Peace was at last at hand,

and the troops would be home by Christmas for sure this

time. Foreign policy experts and experts on Russia began saying Trump was being played immediately

after the Alaska summit, stating that Russia didn't really want peace. Magaverse told the experts they didn't know what they were talking about.

Trump was then very non-committal about Ukrainian security guarantees.

Then Russia hit a U.S.-owned factory in Ukraine with cruise missiles.

The myth that Putin wouldn't have invaded Ukraine under Trump went up with

that factory. Just like the Kurtz Strait incident, there was no response from Trump. Putin

didn't just strike Ukraine. He struck U.S. interests in Ukraine. Now, Putin isn't calling Trump back. Trump promised the world a breakthrough,

that Putin and Zelensky would meet and would work out a peace. Russian foreign minister

Lavrov said in an interview, quote, there's no meeting planned. Shocked.

Putin delayed the sanctions, got to make Trump and the U.S. look weak, and bought more time while Ukraine is being forced to fight with one hand behind its back.

Lavrov said that the U.S. and Ukraine would have to ensure that a number of concessions were made first.

This is a common stalling tactic from the Kremlin.

Now, Trump is saying, quote,

If there are reasons why, I will understand that.
