Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again. So today, we're going to talk about Trump

failing to sway fiscal hawks and a surprising admission about Medicaid that will probably be overlooked.

As Republican support grows for removing Trump's power to impose tariffs unilaterally,

Trump has another major problem shaping up. His one big beautiful bill is in serious trouble. Remember, the one big beautiful bill

is the piece of legislation to enact the Trump agenda. Trump met with House leadership and holdouts

about the Senate budget blueprint.

The goal was to persuade them to support the Senate plan. How bad did it go? Well, Andy Harris,

who chairs the Freedom Caucus, said, quote, there's nothing that I can hear at the White House

that I don't understand about the situation.

He said that while confirming that he skipped the meeting. He added, he's just not going to change my mind.

I say again, the chair of the Freedom Caucus didn't even bother to show. He basically said Trump was wasting everybody's time. His prediction

of the vote count math, and he would have a pretty good read, was telling. He said there were more

than a dozen no votes on the Republican side of the aisle, then added, quote, maybe the president can whittle that down, but he's not going to

whittle it down to four or three. The chair of the Freedom Caucus is publicly saying the Senate

blueprint is dead in the House. Oddly enough, a meeting that was supposed to change the minds of

Fiscal Hawks might have swayed Trump

to support the House plan. He posted about the meeting saying, quote, I let them know that

I am for major spending cuts. We are going to do reductions, hopefully in excess of $1 trillion,

all of which will go into the one big beautiful bill.

Keep in mind, the Congressional Budget Office has now officially said they aren't reaching

house numbers without massive cuts to Medicaid. If Trump supports the cuts, he supports cuts

to Medicaid and children's health insurance.
