Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about the Kennedy Center closure, Trump's name, and the 250th anniversary.

If you watch the Roads with Bell, this bit of news won't really be surprising at all.

For weeks in each weekly news roundup on Sunday, we've talked about the Kennedy Center

losing act after act and key personnel fleeing. In short, ever since Trump graffeedied his name

on the side of the building,

the Kennedy Center has been falling apart faster than a Trump trade deal.

Most recently, we covered how the Kennedy Center was able to get a new person over artistic programming,

who quit within two weeks.

Which is funny in a way.

About three weeks ago, Trump posted about the Kennedy Center by saying, quote,

A year ago, it was in a state of financial and physical collapse.

Wait until you see it a year from now.

Like our country itself, it will rise from the ashes.

Closed. It will be closed a year from now. According to a new announcement from Trump,

the Kennedy Center will quote, cease entertainment operations for an approximately two-year period

of time, with a scheduled grand reopening that will rival and surpass anything that has taken place

with respect to such a facility before. Therefore, the Trump Kennedy Center will close on July 4th, 2026, in honor of the

250th anniversary of our country. Whereupon, we will simultaneously begin construction of the new and

spectacular entertainment complex. Just a quick fact check.

The Kennedy Center's name originates due to an act of Congress.
