Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about Trump, the church, Musk, and no surprises.

Okay, so Trump went to church.

And while there, the bishop delivered a sermon that spoke directly to the new president

and the vice president. Trump was, well, let's

just say he was unmoved by the sermon. In fact, he found it so objectionable, he has asked for an

apology because of the controversial nature of the sermon. The right Reverend Marianne Budd

delivered a sermon talking primarily about mercy, love, and so on.

You know, basic tenets of the Christian belief system.

She said, quote,

In the name of our God, I ask you to have mercy on the people in our country who are scared now.

The appeal was on behalf of those who were attacked or marginalized

by the new administration. People who she said were, quote, some who fear for their lives.

In response, Trump said the service was, quote, a very boring and uninspiring one. He accused her of being, quote, nasty in tone

and not compelling or smart. Also, he said she brought her church into the world of politics.

He also said she was, quote, radical left. Reminder, the sermon was really centered on some pretty basic

premises. Look, if you believe Jesus was a right-wing capitalist, you need to go read the book again.

Some within MAGA, including Georgia congressman Mike Collins, have suggested she be deported. She is an American.

Also, so much for the end of weaponization of the government and protections of freedom of speech,

which were the subject of some of MAGA's first executive actions. It's horse noting that this is not the first time Trump and the bishop

have clashed. During his first term, she wrote a piece for the New York Times, saying his use of

the Bible for political purposes was horrific and outrageous. There is likely to be more and more
