Well, howdy there, internet people, it's bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about Trump caving to governors too late to matter.

After being called out by the National Governors Association

for an apparent attempt to only invite Republican governors to a bipartisan event.

He backtracked.

So, here's a quick recap.

Trump didn't want to invite all of the governors to the event.

The NGA, to include Republican governors, called out his behavior and yanked their support for the meeting.

Trump did a normal Trumpian thing and backtracked, and then went after Republicans on social media.

Trump reportedly told Oklahoma's Republican governor Kevin Stitt, who chairs the NGA, that he was inviting all 55 governors

to the NGA business breakfast. That information was relayed to the governors. Trump then backtracked

on the backtrack. Quote, the invitations were sent to all governors other than two who I feel are not worthy of being there so not all governors got it then

then Trump posted quote we will soon have a governor in Oklahoma who knows how to accurately write a press release to the

public. In this case, to state that I invited, not happily, almost all Democrat governors to the

governor's dinner at the White House. Stitt, a wise guy, knew this, but tried to get some cheap

publicity by stating otherwise.

Anyway, I'll see whoever shows up at the White House.

The fewer, the better.

I just want to pause for a second and acknowledge that Trump, Mr. Kavefafi himself, is telling people they need to write better while

talking to the public and the press. That's bigly funny. But Governor Stitt, maybe you should

take his advice. Nothing bad can happen. It can only good happen.
