Well, howdy there, internet people. It's Bell again. So today, we're going to talk about

Trump causing your health insurance to go up again. Trump's one big, beautiful for billionaires

package is a year old, but the damage from his tax breaks for the rich isn't over yet. Millions of Americans lost

their health insurance after Trump's signature policy went into effect. You would think that

would be enough kicking down at America's working class for the Trump administration,

and Republicans in Congress. But it doesn't look like we're done paying for the tax breaks for the wealthy.

Republicans refusing to give working people a break through the Affordable Care Act premium tax credits

is just the gift that keeps on taking.

Next year, we're looking at another double-digit increase in is just the gift that keeps on taking.

According to a KFF analysis, quote,

For 2027, across 77 insurers participating in the ACA marketplaces from the 16 states and the District of Columbia with publicly available filings. This analysis shows a median proposed premium increase

of 14%. That's 14% on top of the previous increase that bumped millions off health insurance.

The jurisdictions that were looked at in the analysis were Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Texas, Vermont, and Washington State.

So while Republicans hit the midterm campaign trail and continue to try to pretend they care about the working class and affordability issues facing Americans, the reality is starkly different.

Contrary to any promises of addressing affordability, we aren't even done absorbing the cost of their last major policy change.

They'll be out there promising to help the working class, pretending that they care about

middle America, with the full knowledge that Trump's one big beautiful bill, will continue to

cause health care cost increases. For the record, Senators Susan

Collins of Maine, Rand Paul of Kentucky, and Tom Tillis of North Carolina, along with Thomas

Massey of Kentucky and Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, mounted opposition to the bill from within the Republican

Party. So sure, not all Republicans, but almost all. Insurers actually cited the end of the tax
