Well, howdy there, internet people, it spell again.

So today, we're going to talk about Trump and the GOP caving too late on healthcare.

They're late, they're late, for a very important date,

and it's unlikely that they actually meet the deadline by the end of the month. In fact, some are

already admitting that won't happen. For about a year, we've talked about how Republicans will

eventually have to do something about health care and the ACA tax credits, whether they want to

or not. Now, after abandoning the working class in the one

big beautiful bill, and then shutting down the government to avoid extending the ACA tax credits,

with just days left, they're changing their tune, and are going to try to act like helping

the working class with health care with something other than a position they opposed.

So rabidly, they shut down the government over it and cost the country billions.

On Thursday, Trump was talking to a crowd of Democrats when he said, quote,

I think we're going to start working together on

health care. I really predict that. That happened as Trump's approval on the economy has been about

the only thing dropping faster than the average American's chances of seeing the American dream.

So, it seems like Trump speak for, poor people are blaming me for not having money. So, it seems like Trump speak for,

them. It's also worth noting Trump and Republican leadership backtracked as members of their

own party started signing a discharge petition on extending the ACA credits.

A lame duck says quack.

The next day, Republicans in the House conceded to allowing a vote on extending the ACA tax subsidies.

But it seems like they want to attach it to something being called a Republican health care plan.
