Well, howdy there, internet people, let's bow again.

So today we are going to talk about the United States and China and the diplomatic situation there,

because there was a a series of meetings

and they walked away from it saying,

hey, we're working on rebuilding our relationship

that has deteriorated.

But China did not give the United States something the U.S.

really, really wants.

And people have asked why they're not doing it because it seems like it's a

good thing for both sides and that's a hotline military to military

communications so they can so to military can talk to each other and kind of calm things down if tensions start

to rise. Now the question is why doesn't China want that?

They should want that too. Well the first thing to know is that there are

unofficial lines of communication like that, and they already exist.

Those kind of less than official lines of communication, they're still functioning.

The U.S. wants an official line of communication.

Why would China want it is the question.

You know, the obvious answer to most people is well to make sure that a war doesn't start.

Right, when we talk about mistakes that U.S. presidents make on the

foreign policy scene, what's the most common one that occurs over the last few years?

Telegraphing your move, right?

Saying ahead of time, what's going to happen. Putting that information out there a little bit too early.
