Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about the Trump-Elon Peace Accords.

After the very public disagreements between Elon and Trump, the White House reportedly went into damage control mode.

Within the Republican establishment,

most of those making public statements are citing with Trump.

Most carried the sentiment expressed

by Representative Jeff Van Drew of New Jersey,

who said, quote,

nobody elected Elon Musk,

and a whole lot of people don't even like him, to be honest with you, even on both sides.

But let's be honest. You didn't see a lot of the more established politicians who are known for being politically shrewd, taking sides publicly.

That should and probably did worry Trump and his team. Elon's made that

comment about how Trump only has three and a half years left, while Elon will be around for decades to

come. That message looks like it resonated. They may and probably will still side with Trump for right now,

but they're not going to go out of their way to make an enemy out of Elon. That means that as

Trump's influence dwindles, there will be a moment where Elon's billions means more to Republicans

than Trump does. At that point, Trump ceases to have influence.

It seems like Trump's handlers and political team understand that.

So today, they dispatch allies to try to broker a peace,

or at least a ceasefire between the burned-book billionaires.

The White House needing to broker a truce says a lot.
