| 0:00.0 | Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again. |
| 0:05.0 | So today, we're going to talk about the midterms, impeachment and common statements. |
| 0:12.0 | We've got to talk about the midterms again, because a couple of things kept popping up. |
| 0:18.0 | The first is the idea of impeachment after the midterms. There's a popular idea floating |
| 0:24.0 | around that after the midterms, the Democratic Party with a simple majority in the House and a big |
| 0:30.2 | win in the Senate could impeach and remove Trump. Let's just say the Democratic Party gets the House seats needed for a simple majority. |
| 0:39.9 | That's not actually out of the realm of possibility. |
| 0:43.5 | To me, it seems likely. |
| 0:45.5 | But then we get to the Senate. |
| 0:47.8 | We don't vote for all senators each election. |
| 0:51.2 | We vote for about a third of them. |

| 1:23.0 | That requires them flipping Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Missouri, and a host of other red states. |
| 1:31.6 | The likelihood of this isn't exactly zero, but if we're rounding, it's basically zero. |
| 1:38.4 | So this idea needs to be let go. People have to get in the mindset that it is going to take years to undo this mess. |
| 1:47.0 | Now, let's get to the idea that Trump is going to cancel the elections. Midterm elections are run by the states and counties, not the feds. |
| 1:58.0 | Do you see Gavin Newsom canceling the elections? People are pointing to the Miami fiasco. |
| 2:06.3 | Do you know who the biggest opposition to it is? Florida's Republican Attorney General. |
| 2:12.6 | There seems to be an active effort to demoralize people into thinking there won't be midterms. |
